Going for the Kill

You could say life is like a wisp. You could also say that it's like a touch that we make on the vast universe. Almost like a feather that lands on a surface, only to once again be blown away by the breeze.
What do we do in that miniscule parabola of time? We hunt. We ravage and rip our way like beasts driven by a frenzy of blood lust. Almost like the asteroids that bolt down to the earth, intent on burning a mark on the sand as a cigar would a sheet of paper, leaving the glowing embers to draw attention even after it's deed had been done.
We are here for the kill, and we spend our lives through an intense hunt.peering through tall grasses of opportunity, eyes wide with the pulsating excitement of the game. Magnificent like a Tigress, majestic like the Lion. Once the kill has been snared in our grasp,we sink in our claws and leave no room for any odontoid concavity. Devouring achievement till we are satisfied.
This fervid impact that we have on the universe is nevertheless the same wisp, touch, and feather.I have to say,we do enter the vespertide with such valiant grace.

Sleep

Her eyes drooped, eyelids heavy with tire. For just a moment, the peace swallowed her whole. In that short eternity ,everything seemed right. No loose strings ,no unfinished business pending. The feeling of utter generosity of the mind to the soul ,when it decides to torment her not.As sweet as the summer dew rolling ever so quietly off the lush green leaf. The supple yawn of an infant as she prepares for slumber in the gentle arms of her mother.Such wonders does sleep provide that cannot be provided by any other.

First timer Photography!

Eeeeeeepppp! Hey guys!!! So surpriseee! Guess what ???? I've been wanting a camera for a really long time ,but they are just so expensive that I actually feel guilty for my desires. So I was online doing some surfing and I found out that you could buy lens' for your smart phone !!!!! I know right !?So aweeeeeeeeeeeesome! I ordered a set and it came with a clip to fasten the lens' on,and three lens [macro, wide, and fish eye (180 degrees) ].
I know y'all up on instagram clicking up a flurry of photos. If you love photography (and not just selfies ,but actual photography ) you should really invest in this .It's a whole lot cheaper than a professional camera and its way more portable too. Well i have to admit, nothing can ever be so great and not have drawbacks. You can't really adjust our zoom and focus much like a professional camera. So if you're using the macro lens ,you literally have to be touching the thing you are taking  photo of. The fish eye lens is great ,but it covers up the corners of your screen,so you'll have to crop the top and bottom of your picture off.
Well enough said, now, this is what I did with the lens' :).I have to say,I'm a beginner ,not really much of a photographer.I know that some of these photos may not be that great but I absolutely loooved taking them  :) Enjoyy !

This guy below kinda looks like a cranky slug. It's actually a leafs' stem.

The Essence of a Citizen of the World

Our world today, is like an open field of diversities. There are so many wonderful ideas, beliefs, technologies, cultures, sciences, and traditions. So much, that education has adapted to these diversities to allow some sort of globalization. But in the rush to climb the ladder of success ,we have forgotten to look anywhere but up.
It is not selfish to love oneself ,but it is selfish not to love another. Look at all the destruction in the world. It is caused solely by the lack of love. We go to war, because we do not love the other enough to trust them. We kill, because we do not love enough to value another person's life. We hate, because we do not love enough to understand. We are corrupt, because we do not love enough to be generous and just. With so many diversities,it is dangerous to be void of an unbiased, unselfish love.
All forms of violence are born as a seed of thought. A seed that blossoms into a vicious tree that ultimately poisons the entire mind. It shades us with an evil darkness and it guards us from the showers of truth. Each fruit that it bears is an idea that it has nurtured to allow hatred to blind our conscience. Any dwindling ray of light that attempts to enlighten us is either swished away by its vast branches or absorbed by it's own deadly bark.
Everyone's greatest fear ,when broken down,is generated by the thought of being alone. Fear of going to a new school, fear of leaving, fear of losing someone, fear of standing up amongst a seated crowd, fear of the dark...fear of loneliness, and not having someone beside you to share those fears. Yet the only defense mechanism we have,is to destroy everyone around us. We push everyone down as we struggle to be better. We forget those who helped us as we gain strength and power. Conclusively, we lead ourselves to the very path we fear most. Even while we are engulfed in that fear,we make sure that no one can climb up to our level, because we fear that they may overcome us.
This diffidence is what prevents us from realizing that we must follow the basic instinct of a species. It is what brought us together into civilization. To be united as one. As Shakespeare wrote in his story,Macbeth,"Our fears do make us traitors",realization dawns. We are traitors to our own kind. By saying "our own kind", I do not mean only the human race, but all the creatures on the earth. We were all brought here by a single bacteria that mutated and evolved into various species.
Where would we be without the immense greenery that cleansed our lives?Or the ocean that kept us at balance, the sun that warms us ,and the atmosphere that protects us?It is hard to imagine the possibility of life without either one of them. This is because they all become one. They make our mother earth. Nature is a living lesson to us. It is the prophecy that lives within the ages. It is like a scream unheard to the ear but awakened in the mind if it were roused.
The one solution that brings together the massive change is not twisted or made of any deep controversy. We must only learn to cherish and accept our differences. We live in a world of vast histories. Some still uncertain. We faced tyranny and brought democracy. We faced injustice and joined hands against it. We fought wars to forge peace. But in truth, much effort was put into building what was easily solved by one utterly straightforward emotion. There are many orthodox believers and there are non-believers,there are different races, and numerous languages. Co-existence is brought about by this one emotion. It is the true essence that makes an unmistakable citizen of the world. It is what I thrive to do everyday of my life and what I remind people of when they have forgotten their ways. To take a deep breath, and understand what is right, to not hastily devour hatred . To simply learn to love.

Loneliness

I believe that everyone's greatest fear is loneliness. That every other fear, when unfolded, has a center that demands the terror of being alone. But what of those times when you are not truely alone, yet you believe you are?
It could be the moment where a stalker is waiting to slash and tear at your neck while you so innocently and naively walk down a crooked lane, unaware of the eerie stillness of the world. Or it could be the moment where your painful tears are being spilt on the overly drenched pillow cover and your ears seemed to be overwhelmed with the deafening silence, while your dearest friend is unaware of your sorrows and distress.
Whatever may be the case, loneliness, is always a cry of pain and suffering. The word itself seems to touch a melancholy strain. Like a poison you so willingly take and feel as it delicately flows through your veins. Like a heartbeat that beats for the last time. A blade that slithers through flesh. A cloth that the burning iron must press.
